What is a Tri Puzzler?
| Doug, would you mind explaining what a Tri Puzzler is? |
| Sure Jeorge. A Tri Puzzler is a puzzle in which the puzzle pieces are shapes constructed from sets of three squares, all of which are connected to at least one other square on one side. |
| Sounds confusing. |
| Not at all! There are only two possible Tri shapes, and this is what they look like:

| Oooh! Those are small puzzle pieces! |
| That's right. And because they are small, these are the easiest puzzles to solve. These puzzles are best for very young children.
And there's another reason they're easy to solve; Tri Puzzles are different from all other puzzles on this site because all Tri Puzzlers can be solved without using the "flip" transformation. |
